Best Trainer Tire

I spend more time on my CompuTrainer than I care to admit and so far the Continental Hometrainer Tire is the best option that I've found. The tire is quieter and has a better road feel than regular road tires. The tire also leave less tire debris scattered across the room and lasts much, much longer than regular road tires and other trainer tires, such as the Vittoria Home Trainer.
Caveat:
It might be a fluke, but my last Continental Hometrainer was the first time that I've used the black version and it was nearly impossible to mount on the rim. I've probably gone through 6 sets of the yellow version and, although difficult to mount, they were not nearly as hard to mount as the last black version. I'll still give it 5 stars because I won't have to worry about mounting a new tire until sometime next year.

Great product for indoor training

This is the second one of these I have purchased. The first lasted two seasons and performed very well as I put several thousand indoor miles in per year. The best feature of this product is the adhesion to a smooth trainer roller. There is much less slip than a conventional road tire. I have a computer controlled trainer that simulates hills, so limiting slip is critical for increasing resistance under load. This tire is well worth the investment for increasing the quality of indoor workouts.

Excellent tire for the trainer!!

I've been using this tire for a month. Its excellent. There's no slipping on the Cycleops Fluid trainer now! I only ride on a trainer and this tire is a must. The tire particles don't slough off like what happens with regular tires. I would highly recommend the black in this kind of tire. If you use a trainer a lot, get these tires. They are worth the money. Excellent buy!!
