4So far....
By ic3upchurch
Well, I'm a novice mt bike rider here in Middle Tennessee. Many roots, many rocks and a lot are sharp. So being novice, weighing 230lbs and flying on any section of the trail that points downwards, this tire hasn't failed me yet.

It has been my front tire for 2 months, so far so good.

5Big difference over factory tires
By Andrew E.
Ya I know factory tires aren't much to compare with but these tires made a huge difference. The trail I ride on has a loose layer of sandy soil over packed dirt with the occasional rocky technical section thrown in so you can imagine how important a good set of tires are when you are carrying some speed. In the loose dirt these tires stick pretty well which has helped me immensely on the sharp corners. The larger air volume also helped me tackle the rock section faster by smoothing out the bumps. My only complaint is that they throw a lot of dirt at your legs but hey, I'm out mountain biking so who cares.

4May be too agressive a tread
By M. Glover
I found out too late, after having these tires mounted, that the tread is so knobby that it nearly interferes with my brake caliper mounts.
